THE MADE IN ODORKOR MUSIC COMPILATION

       The Buxton Record Label is Happy to Release its Maiden Album Compilation Tagged made in Odorkor which features a wide variety of musical genres (Hiplife,HiphopR&B and Afromusic) with the help of its own artiste and other  artiste which are not signed to its label. 

The Label which is based in one of the native of Accra called Odorkor has its maiden compilation being named after it.The Compilation promises to be a widespread hit in Odorkor and other parts of Accra, with its lead single “Format” by Laylow.The roll call of the compilation is basically the assembly of up and coming artiste who have the hunger and drive to succeed in the music industry in Ghana.Some of the Artiste are

JBUX PROFILE

J Bux (born John Buxton Amarteifio) is a performing and recording artiste and also a song writer, sound producer, and the CEO of a record label Buxton Records. JBux was born in Accra and attended Mfanstipim School, Cape coast. 

JBux developed a strong love for music at a younger age and performed on various platforms with his mates in High School, but it was whilst studying in University of Ghana that he made his decision to turn his vision into a Brand. He has experienced different cultures but still stays true to his roots and this is evident in his music and the people he considers his biggest influences musically, which include Eminem,Gucci Mane,Sarkodie and Lil shaker. 

The saying “If you want something done, do it yourself” is what led him start the label as Jbux believes that as a producer and recording artiste, he would be in the best position to create music that suits his style.

The Artiste

JBux admits that his love for entertaining people comes from his passion for listening to music. As an up and coming artiste, JBux believes that determination is the key to success so he would continue to strive hard to reach the ultimate by working to change the face of music through creativity and dynamism.

The Producer

As a versatile artiste, JBux is able to adapt to any beat produced by other producers. However, this is a craft he has succeeded, and Buxton Records would be a force to reckon with in the near future in Ghanaian Music scene.

Often asked where his inspiration as a producer comes from, Buxton explains “... I like it when people are happy and when they can dance to my music.He has produced songs for Gasmilla, laylow,young pabi and other up and coming artiste.
